Why a hybrid car??

Hybrid concept generally uses the combination of 2 sources of power i.e. power from electric motors and from petrol combustion engines. The battery charges and acts as a storage device to power an electric motor in the car, usually it works when the car is in the traffic and at a low speed thereby ideally saving petrol, which makes it ideal for city drive. The petrol engine usually works when the car needs more power at higher speed allowing the combustion engine to only operate at its optimum efficient speeds. Thus combustion engine is used to recharge the battery along with regenerative braking; therefore hybrid cars do not need to be plugged into an external power supply to recharge. This concept of using the combination of battery power and internal combustion engine makes the car release as less CO2 and other hazardous gases as possible thus making it an environmental friendly car.
Now we discuss why a hybrid?? Hybrids are becoming more popular than a conventional petrol car. Apart from their stylish appearance and their reputation of being environmental friendly they are also easy on your bank account than the conventional vehicles.
Hybrid operates both on small petrol engine and an electric engine. The two work independently and together to create the most economical method of transportation. So they don’t hit hard on your pockets.
In addition to this hybrid consumes less fuel, also they emit as less pollutants as possible. According to a research a hybrid emits 90% less fuel than a conventional model.
Some Companies are offering incentives to the hybrid owners who are their employees. Google is one of them. Most of the companies keep a million aside in the yearly budget in order to compensate for these incentive they offer. When the companies were asked why they are doing this, they stated they are giving their employees this opportunity in order to give back to the community and environment.
Apart from companies even government has started to offer free parking to the hybrid owners and also free route through congestion charging zones. When you live in a busy city, there are even days when smog alerts are as serious as a tornado and hurricanes or floods. It is not fiction that air pollution damages humans and the Earth. Therefore, it is our responsibility to make wise choices when it comes to pollutants and choose a hybrid and save the EARTH.
