Maruti A-Star has got all that it takes to be the car of the year. It is not only very well priced, it also has youthful look. It is a good car that looks cute and its built quality is much better than many other good cars. The car is ideal for those seeking fun and city drive with friends.
I found its dashboard pretty cool with installed stereo. As far as legroom and driver’s seat is concerned, it is quite comfortable. When I got its ride I discovered that the car is very good in terms of acceleration, pick up, handling with no vibration at all.
I was amazed to know that this car has an all new KB-Series 998cc engine that is Euro 5-compliant with Co2 emissions and develops 67 Bhp of power. A- Star surely has been designed boldly with strong lines and large wheelarches.
However, the interiors of the car feel a bit overcrowded and rear legroom is of course less for 6′ tall people. Also, the height of dashboard is a bit high and might block view of short drivers.
But from driver’s viewpoint A-Star is a very comfortable car; it has got big instrument cluster and also all meters are easy to read. Moreover, it has dash mounted tachometer which is first of its kind in this sector.
It is worth noting that Maruti has launched A-Star in 3 variants - Lxi, Vxi, and Zxi. The Zxi model is fully loaded with features like power steering and power windows, remote central locking, anti lock braking system, CD player with four speakers, dash mounted tachometer, rear defogger, log lamps, and many more.
